Sunnyvale returns returns 6 players from last season's 26-2 squad. Co-District MVP's TaKoya Stallings and Brinley Andrews will be anchors for the Lady Raiders. Sanger returns 8 lettermen from last season's 20-6 team. The Indians will be led by returning double figure scorers Lexi Martin and Bella Ringenberg. Last season won their first district title in 10 seasons. Brownsboro returns Mekhayia Moore and Paris Miller from last season's regional finalist team. The Bearettes have advanced to the regional tournament 16 times in school history. Texas A&M commit MiKayla Brown is back for Dallas Lincoln. The Tigers have made the playoffs every season since 1988. This includes 3 state titles during that time. Kennedale is coming off a season that saw them reach the regional tournament. Kennedale will be led by District MVP Reagan Jackson. Only a junior, Jackson has scored 1000 pts in each of her first two seasons. Last season's District 10-4A New Comer of the Near Jayla Jackson-Allen and Defensive Player of the Year Peyton Landry will also be key in the Lady Kats success this season. Kennedale has made the playoffs the last 15 seasons.
Dallas Pinskton made history last season. The Lady Vikings reached the state tournament for the first time in school history. Pinkston finished last season with a 27-6 record. All State guard Tamia Flores graduated. But, 5 lettermen return for the Lady Vikings. Erin Byrd, Aaliyah Kinnard, Kierstyn Jones, Arayah Ross, and Maruaya Euresti will be major factors for the Lady Vikings this season.
Sanger finished last season with a 20-6 record. The Indians were knocked out of the playoffs in the area round by Dallas Pinkston . Sanger loses decorated athlete Chlore Malone. However, experience will be on Sanger's side this season. The Indians return 8 lettermen, Sanger will be led by returners Lexi Martin and Bella Rindenberg. The Indians have made to the playoffs the past 4 seasons. And, Sanger won their first district championship in 10 years last season.
The Lady Kats finished last season with a 13-10 record. Kennedale got hot at the right time and made a run to the regional semifinals. Kennedale returns 6 lettermen led by District 10-4A MVP Reagan Jackson. Last season's District 10-4A New Comer of the Year Jayla Jackson-Allen and Peyton Landry will also be major contributors for the Lady Kats this season. Kennedale has made the playoffs the last 15 consecutive seasons.
The Bearettes made it to the the regional tournament last season. Brownsboro won District 14-4A finishing undefeated with a 10-0 record. They finished their season with a 26-2 record. Brownsboro has big shoes to fill with All state forward Kentoya Woods graduating. The Bearettes return All State guard Mekhayia Moore. Backcourt mates Paris Miller and Allie Cooper are also back Brownsboro has made the regional tournament 16 times in school history. This season could very well be the 17th.
The 26-2 Lady Raiders made it to the regional quarterfinals last season. Sunnyvale won District 13-4A with a 12-0 record. Sunnyvale returns 6 lettermen. The Lady Raiders returners are led by District Co-MVPs TaKoya Stallings and Brinley Andrews. Distict 13-4A Defensive MVP Micah Russell is another bright spot for Sunnyvale. Sunnyvale won state back in 2015. The Lady Raiders have made it to the regional quarterfinals 6 out of the last 10 seasons.
Dallas Lincoln finished last season with a 17-8 record. The Tigers return 6 lettermen from last season. One of those lettermen is 6'2 Mikayla Brown. Lincoln has made the playoffs every season since 1988. During that time span, the Tigers have won 3 state championships.
